Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

  • Kairala Taxi provides private and shared transportation services.
  • Hansarctic provides guided outdoor experiences and activities.
  • By making a booking, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate pickup details, schedules, and passenger information.
  • We recommend travel insurance covering cancellations and delays.
  • Acceptance of these terms is confirmed by payment or booking confirmation.

2. Payment and Cancellation Terms on Pre-Booked Private Transport Services & Safari experiences

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required upon confirmation unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 48 hours before pickup: 100% refund
  • 48 hours or less before pickup: non-refundable

Changes to Booking

  • Changes (time, pickup location, etc.) are subject to availability
  • If a booking is rescheduled, it becomes non-refundable

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduled bookings become non-refundable

Group Bookings

Groups (16–32 persons)
  • More than 7 days before: 100% refund
  • 7 days or less: non-refundable
Groups (over 32 persons)
  • More than 30 days before: 100% refund
  • 30 days or less: non-refundable

4. Waiting Time & No-Show

  • Fixed price bookings include a 5-minute wait at the pickup address without further notice. Any additional waiting time will be charged according to the current price list.
  • The price of the private airport pick-up booking includes a 45-minute wait from the actual landing time, provided that the flight number has been specified.
  • After this, the booking is considered a no-show and is non-refundable

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol in vehicles is prohibited.
  • The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle.

6. Service Conditions

  • Routes and timing may be adjusted due to traffic, weather, or road conditions.
  • Kairala Taxi Services or Hansarctic is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond control (e.g. flights, weather, accidents, road conditions).
  • The service provider does not transport dangerous substances or illegal items. The service provider has the right to refuse to drive a booking if the goods cannot be safely loaded onto the vehicle.
  • The customer must provide correct and complete information when placing a booking. The customer is responsible for any additional costs if the driver goes to the wrong location due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
  • The service provider has the right to refuse transportation if the actions of the Traveling Customer pose a safety risk or if the car cannot be safely driven to the pick-up or destination address.

7. Force Majeure

  • Services may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • In such cases, an alternative or refund will be offered when possible.

8. Complaints

  • Issues should be reported immediately.
  • Written complaints must be submitted within 7 days.

9. Lost property

The service provider is not responsible for any items left in the car by the customer, nor for their loss or damage. The Customer is responsible for any costs associated with the collection of lost property, such as separate transport or handling fees. The Service Provider is not liable for any financial losses resulting from the loss of items.


10. Governing Law

  • Finnish law applies. Disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation.
